Project Management

Managing new projects always implies a lot of opportunities, yet also bears many risks. The more important is it to command an experienced project management team: From the project definition and planning to the execution and controlling to the project close-out, the Proway-team actively stands in support of the client, operating around-the-clock if required.

We emphasize individuality from the very beginning, because despite standardized management methods project management follows the rule of “one size does not fit all”. Our teams develop just the tool and methods our clients need for executing their projects while in addition we oversee the progress of the project according to previously set milestones. Hence risks and potentially occurring difficulties will be detected at an early stage and can therefore be resolved quickly.

Individuality and standardization: it’s all in the mix!

Managing projects requires vast know-how in various fields of expertise: product and market specific knowledge along with detailed skills in handling the necessary tools and methods.

The person responsible for the project management teams are of course certified corresponding to the standards of IPMA and GPM Level-D. This way we ensure that project work aligns itself according to both nationally and internationally accredited rules and principles.

However, soft skills like social and communicative faculties as well as high endurance and the ability to work under pressure together with an encompassing and sustainable way of thinking are also indispensable for a project manager. Throughout the employee casting process we pay extra attention to make sure that our personnel possesses the aforementioned soft skills, for only the right blend of individuality and standardization safeguards the success of a project.

Always up to date: our technologies

Next to the customer’s intrinsic project management standards we have various other technologies at our disposal, e.g. the V-Model (procedure model) as an encompassing and abstract method for managing projects or the Rational Unified Process (RUP) as object-oriented model for developing software.

Thanks to the accrediting of our employees according to GPM and IPMA standards we ensure the standardisation to be of national and international validation. Through continuous further education we take care that our personnel always maintains a high level of expertise and stays up to date on relevant topics. This way the ever more complex applications which have to be adapted to the ever growing level of performance can function smoothly and above all safely.

Quality Management

Strategic approach and high standards

An elevated level of quality is neither self-evident nor a random product but moreover the result of target-oriented measures of quality management. Proway keeps a close watch on accompanied projects in order to timely intervene on any occurring deviation of desired system quality. Thanks to our fast reaction time we preclude possibly occurring additional expenses right from the start.

Proway guarantees high quality on two levels:

  • By software quality we mean the entirety of features and properties with whereby we adjust our product perfectly to the user requirements and warrant the user-friendly application respectively. Claim and realization must herein conform a hundred percent in order to attain top level quality.
  • Die Quality assurance within a project is the meticulous supervision of planned and systematically performed activities throughout every project phase. Hence we safeguard the product to be compliant to the predefined quality requirements. Thereby we use the IV-procedure model to designate milestones within the structure of work packages of particular phases, upon which results are to be verified and production steps readjusted if applicable.

The specifically trained project leader is in charge of determining the quality goals and milestones. However, in a well-established team the project members are equally responsible to contribute to achieving given objectives. As a general rule, and depending on demand of the client, two different and slightly modified procedure models are in use: The Rational Unified Process (RUP) and the quality requirements according to the Manual of System Design of HBSG. Of course, in some projects our customers would like their own specific procedure models to be applied. For documentation the worldwide standard of UML (Unified Modelling Language) and its prose documents are utilized, hence Proway makes sure that the globally established high quality demands are met within our projects.

Proway offers the complete scope of performance for our clients, ranging from user training for new applications up to highly complex specialist training within a security-related environment. Concerning the development of individual training concepts we are geared to the particular needs of our customers, to the individual operating schedule and the already existing know-how of the members of staff.

In working on-site with the customer we spot a need for training in due time to immediately provide support and transfer our vast knowledge within the company. We are able to insert our expertise and years of experience in diverse subject areas via individual training courses into the business processes of our customer. This way we jointly gain a competitive edge over the competition which can be just the determining factor for a prolonged business success.
